The 2023 Great Manchester Run is less than a month away, and it’s not too late to sign up and raise some funds for a local charity.

The AJ Bell Great Manchester Run will take place on 21 May, and participants can run either the half marathon or the 10k route.

Both routes will share the start line on Portland Street in Manchester City centre and finish by the Beetham Tower in Deansgate.

The 10k route will take the runners through Chester Road, but the half marathon route will divert up through Mancunian Way and continue until the Manchester City football ground, where the runners will loop back around and join the 10k route, which carries on to Salford Quays. From there, it’s the same route back to the city centre.
