Clifton library has reopened after being temporarily closed for “urgent” maintenance almost two months ago.

The library closed its doors on Monday 6 February after undisclosed essential maintenance was required on the Wynne Avenue building.

The news of the closure was announced via a Facebook post by Salford Community Libraries on January 27.

Yesterday (Tuesday 28 March) the library took to Facebook to announce the library was reopening with immediate affect.

The post said: “We are happy to announce that following a temporary closure for urgent repairs, Clifton Library is now open as normal.

“We look forward to seeing you there.”
Opening times for the library are Tuesday 1.30-5.30 and Friday 1.30-5.30.
