A free mental health event featuring celebrity guests is coming to MediaCity this week.
Wellbeing LIVE takes place this Thursday (30 March) with the interactive day offering a mix of activities including: laughter yoga, hula-hopping, Wagamama tasting sessions, high-intensity workouts, and sessions on avoiding burn-out and financial stress.
The headline event, ‘Spotlight On Wellbeing special: Lessons from a life well lived’ will feature a number of personalities including Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter, award-winning comedian Russell Kane, Life Hacks expert Dr Radha, and Radio 1’s Dean McCullough and Katie Thistleton.
The event is free for anyone working or living in and around Media City.
Josie Cahill, Place Director for MediaCity, commented: “We’re living in challenging times, the cost-of-living crisis is making everyone’s lives harder. We wanted to host an event to help our community feel supported and social without feeling the pressure of buying a ticket or booking a paid-for seminar.
“We care about the people of MediaCity, as they are what makes our community unique, so we’re always on the lookout for ways to inspire people to come together whether it’s through spending lunch in an active way or socialising after office hours.”
