Police are appealing for the public’s help after a fire in Salford last night.

Around 8:30pm last night (Wednesday 1 March), police were called to reports of a fire at a property on Allendale Walk, Salford.

Nobody was seriously injured in the blaze and a scene remains in place to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were joined by Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time to please come forward.

A statement from GMP said: “Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have any CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area before, during, or after the incident occurred.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 0161 856 8361 quoting incident 3325 of 01/03/23.

“Alternatively, you can report information anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
