Salford Museum’s Local History Library has unveiled a fresh coat of paint, photo scanners and a reading area after a two month refurbishment project.
The Library opened its doors to visitors yesterday (Wednesday 1 March) after being closed since December 19 2022 for a two month refurbishment.
A fresh coat of deep green paint, 18 new filing cabinets, micro-film readers and a comfortable reading area are among some of the additions to the library.
The refurbishment was funded by the Friends of Salford Museum, with visitors already making use of the new facilities.
Bookings for the library are available every Wednesday-Friday.
