Olivier award-winning adaptation of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ comes to The Lowry

A comedic adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic 1813 novel, ‘Pride and Prejudice’, is coming to The Lowry next month.

‘Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of)’ tells the classic story of love, money and men but with 5 actresses, 20 characters, and one microphone.

The play comes as part of its UK Tour, where it won an Olivier award for Best Comedy and an Evening Standard for writer and director, Isobel McArthur.

This “smart, laugh out loud funny” (Daily Telegraph) show features a string of pop classics including Young Hearts Run Free, Will You Love Me Tomorrow and You’re So Vain.
