Vegan Vampires took over a restaurant in MediaCity over the weekend at the launch of a new movie.
Salford producer Mike Bennett hosted a wrap party for his B line movie called Vegan Vampires From Zorg, in Lime Bar on Saturday.
Mike Bennett said: “I chose Lime Bar because it’s the best bar in MediaCity by far, the food is amazing, people are friendly and they’re crazy enough to do an event like this.”
The California-made film, starring people such as Sex Pistols, Fat White Families, Melanie Williams, and, Maggie Dunne from Fuzzbox, made it to Salford Quays to show off the premiere of the film when the clock struck midnight.
The movie is described by Mike as: “A shockumentary horror film, a film about how not to make a film.”
The 16+ rated movie is set in a vinyl store and goes through the sequence of failed attempts the big stars took to make a vampire movie.

The fang-tastic night was also accompanied by many well-known faces such as the band Fuzzbox, The Duel, Mike Bennett from the Blockheads, and Ed Banger & The Nosebleeds.
The guests also made an entrance, with everyone dressed to impress or at least dressed to scare as the event was filmed to be edited into the final cut of the bonus DVD release.
Gina, aka Raven from Teen Titans, said that she really enjoyed her evening after she heard about it from one of her friends: “So far it’s been really good music, live music as well which I wasn’t expecting.”
Randal, a waitress at Lime Bar said: “The event went really well, we’re going to try and do monthly events like this with live music after Christmas.”
The film will be coming out on Amazon prime and in cinemas on the 12th November.
