The Black Blues Brothers are bringing their acrobatic act to the Lowry Theatre this October 27-29.
The Black Blues Brothers are five Kenyan acrobats whose shows have been staged at some of the most prestigious theatres and festivals around the world.
Their performances have a strong musical component, using songs from the 1980 film, with a repertoire of somersaults, human pyramids and stunts with fire.
The group are currently on UK tour which will be culminating at the Lowry at the end of October.

Bilal Musa is one of the stars of the Black Blues Brothers. He said: “We trained every day for about two months to have this project.”
“We are very professional, but it is not an easy thing, it is very difficult. Don’t try this at home!”
He also explained how the group met, he said: ““We’re coming from the coast of Kenya, between Mombasa and Malindi. There is a small village very close to the beach where we met each other.
“We were coming from the same village and went to school together since we were very young.”
The group has been training in acrobatics and performance together for 12 years now, even taking stage at the Royal Variety Performance in 2020.
They believe that trust in each other is vital to successful performances.
Musa said: ““We have to build trust to do anything because if someone doesn’t trust you, you can’t do anything.”
“You have to build the trust and love because it is risky.”
Tickets are on sale now, with the Ocotber 27-28 shows starting at 8pm, whilst there will be two shows on Saturday 29 Ocotber starting at 2:30pm and 8pm.
