The Liverpool-bound side of the A6 Broad Street will be closed for five nights from the 3rd October until the 7th October.
The roads are closed to allow for the existing service layer of the carriageway and install a new road service alongside new road markings.
A diversion from the A6 via Hankinson Way will be in place until 6 am from the 3rd till the 7th of October, and from the 10th to the 17th of October, there will be a diversion via Hankinson Way and Cross Lane.
The roadworks are part of the Salford City Council upgrade scheme, a package of measures focusing on new road surfaces, central reservations, kerbs, and cycle lanes.
A week later, the Manchester-bound side of the A576 Pendleton roundabout will be closed from Monday, 10th October until Monday, 17th October 2022.
The diversion will add 10-15 minutes to the road user’s journey. However, no work will take place over the weekend.
The Liverpool-bound side of the A6 will be closed at 7 pm tonight (3rd October).
