A Radcliffe musician who goes by the stage name ‘Ste Milly’ is playing live at George’s Dining Room and Bar this Friday.
The bar which is located within the heart of Worsley village, was opened in 2014 by former Manchester United and Wales international star, Ryan Giggs.

Ahead of his performance, Steven said: “I’m very excited about playing George’s in Worsley as I always love a new venue.”
Over the past few years, Mr. Millington has gained a following on social media due to his acoustic covers of indie classics along with some new material which he has written.

“I will be covering artists like The Stone Roses, Oasis, Verve, Gerry Cinnamon and many more.
“If people like a bit of indie or Manchester music, stripped down to the bare bones then I’m sure that they will enjoy it.”
In May of last year, Steven’s popularity increased when he uploaded the single “LET’S HAVE A PARTY (A DING DONG DO)” in celebration of Bolton Wanderer’s promotion from League Two on the final day of the season.
“It was the best thing that I have ever done.
“I wrote half of it whilst I was at work because it was clear we would win before the final whistle, then I just uploaded it to a few Bolton Wanderers fan pages and after that it was just unbelievable.”
The song became an instant favourite amongst the Bolton supporters, which meant that Ste had the opportunity to play the song live in front of Bolton Wanderers manager Ian Evatt, for their official social media page.

The video received over 45,000 views on Facebook.
“I received a call the following Monday morning from somebody at Bolton Wanderers, who asked me if I could get down to the stadium within the next half an hour as Granada Reports and BBC News are here, so I was proper bricking it.
“I hadn’t played it that much at the time so I thought I was going to mess it up, but it only took me two takes.”

Tickets are not needed for this Friday’s gig at George’s bar as it runs as a first come-first serve basis.
