Salford City will be aiming to make it three wins in a row as they host 12th placed Crawley Town.
The Ammies will be keen to make home advantage count in their late play-off bid, with just nine games left of their league 2 campaign.
Despite being lower in the table, Crawley will be coming to The Peninsular in good form following two wins on the bounce, including an impressive 3-1 win against play-off chasing Swindon Town.
The match will kick-off at 19:45 tonight.
With Salford City’s bid for play-offs coming so late in the season, it has become a situation where every game is essentially a must win.
Following the weekends victory against Walsall FC, Salford midfielder Matt Smith told Salford Now the importance of every game from now until the end of the season.
Smith said: “Really important [Salford’s current unbeaten run], we’ve got to win the majority of the last remaining games.
“Confidence is such a big thing in football and I think we’re probably the one team that teams don’t want to play at the moment, given that we are unbeaten in our last nine games.”
In the reverse fixture back in August, Salford handed Crawley their first win of the season, as they bounced back from an early Ibou Touray goal to beat the Ammies 2-1.
City will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 10 games and keep their dream of League 1 football next season alive, whilst the visitors will want to spoil the party and complete the double over the reds.
