Christmas returns again to Salford, with many festive events for families to enjoy and get you in the spirit.
Here are some of them that are happening throughout December…
Salford Museum and Art Gallery
The Museum and Art gallery are hosting many events for all ages, there will be changes to enjoy a festive afternoon tea running from the 1st to 16th of December costing £12.95 for adults and £8.95 for children. The afternoon tea consists of a selection of sandwiches and festive cakes.
There will also be carols, workshops and opportunities to have breakfast with Father Christmas on the 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th of December. There will be story time with Santa, crafts and a morning filled with food.

Christmas at Media City
Media City will be hosting lots of different events over the Christmas season. The Christmas markets will be open from the 11th of December, with multiple different stalls opening.
The public will have the chance to enjoy lots of different food and buying novelties and gifts for family members and have a magical experience with family and friends.
Christmas cheer event Buile Hill Park, Eccles
The Christmas cheer event will arrive in Eccles on Sunday 5th December, with funfair rides, community stalls and food and drinks available. Children will also have a chance to meet Santa and his Reindeer.

Santa Drive through Grotto (Kings Church Pendlebury)
Continuing on from last year, Father Christmas will be back in Pendlebury for the drive in grotto. There will be opportunities to get food while waiting.

Russell’s Christmas Special
For the adults Manchester River Cruises will hold a Christmas party down Manchester’s ship canal. It will consist of swing and rat pack music, as well as everyones favourite Christmas songs.
Christmas party flashback to the 90s
Eccles Masonic Hall are having a three course meal and 90s tribute on the 4th of December, taking people back to the 90s with lots of Christmas songs being played and fancy dress to be worn.
