The Ammies take on local rivals Oldham Athletic at the Peninsula Stadium as they look to carry their midweek momentum forward following an injury time equalizer against Bristol Rovers.
Salford sit in 16th place, six points ahead of Oldham who are just one place above the drop zone.
Salford will be without Willock and Hunter as they both saw red in the 1-1 draw on Tuesday.
Oldham enter the tie on the back of a defeat to Northampton Town, making it one win in nine for the visitors as they continue to struggle at the bottom of the table.
City on the other hand look to be building a head of steam as they look to finish November unbeaten and push themselves into contention for a play off place as we near the midway point of the season.
A win would take The Ammies onto 24 points and level with 11th placed Walsall, with the margins in the midtable so low a lot could change for Gary Bowyer’s men in a short space of time with the benefit of being the only team in the bottom half with a goal difference above zero.
Bowyer highlighted the recent good form in his post match interview this week as he looked ahead to the weekend.
“That’s five games unbeaten in all competitions now and we’ve got to keep that momentum going. We’ll look at the areas that we feel we can get better at from tonight’s game then recover and go again Saturday.”
Due to the two suspensions picked up midweek it will could potentially be an interesting lineup with 20 year old midfielder, Andy Smith potentially involved.
