Salford Quays has welcomed back the return of cold-water swimming.
The course that runs 300 metres in length, is open as a training area and at the end of the swim participants are greeted with a warm drink.
Including the drink, the whole experience costs £16.
The sessions began on the 7th of November and are taking place at Dock 8 in Salford Quays.

The remaining dates for the event are the 21st of November, 5th of December and the last one taking place on the 19th of December.
The final session, on the 19th of December, will be a Christmas themed swim. Contestants are being encouraged to come down with their Christmas hats and bring some festive cheer.
The cold-water swimming sessions also include coaching sessions at 9:30am, giving a safe and insightful introduction to the sport and a 10:00am session for “1-2-1’s”. The session wraps up at 11:00am.
