A host of stars from the soap world will be in Monton this Sunday as a TV All Stars team are playing Sands United in a charity football game.
The All Stars team will feature actors from Hollyoaks, Emmerdale and Coronation Street, along with a series of potential former professionals such as Salford-born Liam Dickinson.
Former Manchester United stalwart Denis Irwin is also expected to play at New Alder Park on Sunday, where the game will kick off at 13:30.
They will be playing Sands United Stockport, a charity that work to reduce the number of babies dying and to improve care and support for anyone affected by the death of a baby.
Their team is made up of bereaved dads and other family members who have been affected by the death of a baby, and they come together through football to support each other and raise awareness and funds for the charity.

Joel Kelly founded the Sands United Stockport team, who play frequently against a range of opponents, is pleased of the prospect of facing the All Stars on Sunday.
He said: “We’re really looking forward to it. It will be a great test for the lads.
“It’s great we can be playing the All Stars, it will help us raise awareness with us playing such high profile opposition.
“For us though it’s all about the cause. We enjoy playing obviously but for us its all about the cause and raising awareness.”
The event will be the first hosted at Monton since the club was granted a new premises licence, last month, which enables them to host more events such as this one.
Admission is free and the gates open from 12:30. Hot refreshments will be available and the bar will be open.
AFC Monton chairman, Kieran Rabbitt has revealed his pride at hosting the match.
He said: “We at AFC Monton are proud to host anything that raises money for an authentic charity, which tends to be hidden away.
“We hope this can start a good relationship between ourselves and this fantastic charity.
The All Stars have played a number of games at Monton, with the bond between the tv stars and club a positive one.
Rabbitt revealed: “The football club has a really good relationship also with them, it’s great that the guys give up their time and help out.
“I think we’ll attract a lot of people down. We’ve got a full day with the soccer school in the morning, then the girls have got a game followed by this charity game.
“It should be a fantastic day. I hope people come down because they’ll have a great time while supporting a great cause. It really will be great fun to watch.”
The all stars team regularly play against various charities and causes, and are captained by Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone in Coronation Street.
