Salford takeaway Burgerism has collaborated with Trof, a Northern Quarter restaurant, to provide in-house dining.
Delivery joint Burgerism, based on West Ashton Street, has taken over the kitchens of Trof every Monday and Tuesday until December as a temporary pop-up.
The Salford branch operates out of a warehouse off the corner of West Ashton Street and offers collection and delivery. Previously customers’ only dine-in option was to eat in their cars in the car park.
Morys Davies, head of design and social media for Burgerism, said:
“With us being delivery and takeaway only, not many of our customers get the chance to experience the product sat down with an ambience and having a drink.
“Trof is one of the staples of Northern Quarter and we like what they represent.
“We finally get a chance to see our customers enjoy the product after a long 18 months in lockdown.”
The Salford dark kitchen concept launched in 2018 with the aim to fill the gap in the market of high-quality delivery food with smash burgers as their speciality.
Three guys from Ireland, Mark, John and Pete, set up the business and Burgerism has developed a simple menu filled with British and halal ingredients as all produce is locally and nationally sourced where possible.
The Salford warehouse offers delivery and collection and has a site near Piccadilly for collection only.

Morys said:
“We chose a specific spot in Salford based on the audience we have there.
“With the venue being just off Regent Road it’s easy and simple for delivery drivers to hop off and quickly grab food.”
In-house dining is available at Trof, Northern Quarter, every Tuesday and Wednesday. Burgerism is also available to order for delivery via Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
Pre-orders can also be collected from the Salford store. For more information and to view the full menu, visit: burgerism.co.uk.
