Little Hulton Health Centre has started offering the opportunity for eligible patients to receive their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine with walk-in clinics every Wednesday and Saturday.
From 4pm to 9pm on Wednesdays, and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, those aged 40 or over who have not yet received their first dose can now obtain it without having to book an appointment beforehand and just turning up to the clinic at the allotted time.
The clinics are additionally open to those over 30 years old with either long term health conditions or those who are registered as carers, both paid and unpaid, and all recipients must be registered with a GP in Salford.
This week, walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics open at Little Hulton Health Centre every:

The “state-of-the-art” Little Hulton Health Centre opened in October of 2020 as a result of collaboration between Salford Primary Care Together and NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group and cost £4.6 billion to build.
The site was built to host a wide variety of primary healthcare services, from GPs to other, more specialist services, including mental health, speech, and language services and even a smoking cessation clinic.
While the Little Hulton clinic is offering these time slots regularly each week, other facilities are hosting one-off, irregular walk-in clinics, usually announced on the day they take place via social media.
Today (Monday 10 May) we have walk-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics at Irlam Leisure Centre and Eccles Leisure Centre.

The walk-in clinics have not replaced the appointment system and patients are encouraged to book appointments for their vaccination if they are unable to make the provided times for the walk-in clinics.
