‘5 Star Entertainment’ are offering an exclusive free incentive to Salford residents in the form of a virtual escape room experience to those who join any of the free virtual quiz nights, as a way to cure the lockdown boredom.
Ste Worrall, owner of ‘5 Star Entertainment’ says: “We’re offering Salford residents the opportunity to join an exclusive free virtual escape room experience when they register a team into any of the free Thursday Night virtual quizzes.
“We have been operating the weekly Thursday Quiz Night at The Olde Boars Head in Middleton since 2010, amongst other venues (which we no sadly no longer service). We host one every Thursday night & have done since the start of the year. It’s the next best thing to the pub!
“In that time we have given away European city breaks as well as over £5,000 in cash, raised over £8,000 for Cancer Research UK as well as over £500 for other local charities, including the Manchester Fund following the 2017 Arena attack.
With the recent news of the potential reopening of pubs and venues in the Summer months; there could be a return to hosting face to face quiz nights, which Ste is determined and optimistic about.
“I think it will be a great opportunity for the pub industry to be open just as the good weather hits. My hope is that we will host a mixture of online events and face to face events.
“I guess there would be a demand for online events post lockdown for those who can’t get out midweek due to other commitments, as well as those people who have friends and family dotted around the country who won’t be able to see their loved ones so regularly.
“We also offer a range of entertainment at really reasonable & competitive prices for venues and will continue to do so post lockdown. Our intention is not to increase our prices and to offer some level of discount for events booked prior to 17th May.”
