Salford brewery Seven Bro7hers has started hosting an open mic night at their Weaste taproom.

The evening runs every third Thursday from February through to November with the next one being held on the 19th of March.

The event is being hosted by Mr John Haycock and Adam Clarke.

And it’s not just musicians that hop on the stage, comedians, poets and any other form of stage performance is welcome.

Haycock said: “It’s just a platform – an open mic, so it’s open to literally anybody that wants to come up and do whatever it is that they want to do. I won’t say no.”

As it is an open mic night, the performers are not paid, however, they are entitled to a free pint if they choose to perform, and there is quite a selection.

The event has many people returning every month, with more new music and beer lovers discovering it as its popularity grows.

Seven Bro7hers serve a watermelon wheat beer, a honeycomb pale ale and even a marsh-mellow stout.

And the drinks on offer are just as varied as the performers with every age and music style being welcomed with open arms.

To get involved with the night and perform at the taproom, you can message John Haycock through Facebook.
