The Lowry Outlet is set for a staggering £26m development plan, set to open in Autumn 2020.
The Outlet will be rebranded as ‘Quayside MediaCityUK’, and will introduce the ‘I’m A Celebrity Jungle challenge’ for visitors to have a go at.
Shoppers will soon be able to undergo the trials as if they were the camp mates of ‘Croc Creek’ and ‘Snake Rock’.
The new jungle experience will join the popular Vue Cinema, Virgin Active gym and The Watergardens dining area as part of the redevelopment.
A wide variety of new restaurants, bars, and eateries will be opened as part of the new ‘Watergardens’.
Also on offer will be a 270 degree view of the waterfront area.
Lifestyle Outlets are the driving force behind the scheme, and have already achieved success with their outlet on the Gloucester Quays.
Their work has brought more than 11 million visitors and a 5.5 per cent growth in sales to the Gloucester Quays in 2019/2020 alone.

With plans currently underway, it is expected the Quayside MediaCityUK plans will be finished and open to the public by Autumn of this year. “Quayside MediaCityUK is much more representative of the vibrant, waterfront location we are becoming…2020 is due to be our most exciting year yet.”
