Japanese artist Takahiro Iwasaki and Nicole Rousmaniere, a Professor of Japanese Art and Culture, will be giving talks in Salford.
Iwasaki, born in Hiroshima, will be speaking at Salford Museum and Art Gallery on March 11 as part of The Superlative Artistry of Japan exhibition.
Iwasaki is most know for his Out of Disorder series, pieces from which will be on display at Salford Museum and Art Gallery.

Nicole Rousmaniere, Professor of Japanese Art and Culture at the University of East Anglia, will explore the development of Japanese ceramics from the Meji Period to modern times, at at Salford Museum and Art Gallery on March 29.
Salford Museum and Art Gallery says: “Join us for a fascinating and insightful exploration of this internationally touring exhibition.”
The exhibition is a celebration of the Japan – UK Season of Culture 2019 – 2020, and is curated by and co-presented with the Japan Foundation with advice from Yuji Yamashita.
The Japan Foundation, established in 1972, aims to promote international understanding through cultural exchange.
Both events are free to the public and require booking.
