Incredible scenes were captured from all over Salford, showing dense fog and high water marks.
There was also some thunder and lighting in the evening and strong winds long into the night.
The Met office had placed given much of the country a yellow weather warning for wind and rain, with the South East being given an amber warning, signifying a “potential risk to life and property.”
The North West is still subject to a yellow warning for snow and ice.
According to the Met Office, the storm is expected to continue until Wednesday. Much of Greater Manchester is under a yellow warning for snow and ice, including Salford.
