Greater Manchester Police are searching for an individual after a child was assaulted after the Rugby League Grand Final in October.
GMP Trafford South are looking for a man, pictured below, who they would like to speak to in connection to the assault which occurred on the 12th of October.
On Facebook GMP said,”The incident took place shortly after the final whistle of the Rugby League Grand Final between St Helen’s RFC and Salford Red Devils on the 12th October 2019 at Old Trafford.”
The photos GMP Trafford South have released appear to show a man wearing a St Helen’s RFC shirt.
No details have been released regarding the identity of the child for legal reasons.
Anyone who has any information about the assault should call Greater Manchester Police on 101 quoting crime number CRI/06MM/0005562/19.
