Salford Park Rangers have organised a “Health” walk in Peel Park where people can socialize and get some exercise.

The event is every Wednesday and starts at 12:15pm and ends at 12:45pm.

Jessica Birtch, Ranger at Peel Park says “It’s about coming out at lunchtime for half an hour and going on various different kinds of walks from the park keepers base.

“We have about 5 different routes that you can go on and you can come and have a chat, meet new people and get some exercise and your lunch break!”

The even is open and free to anyone, there is no need to book but anyone attending may need to bring suitable clothing and a bottle of water.

Exercise can help to relieve stress from your day to day lives and can help with mental health so it’s important to break out the office and get some fresh air.
