Salford Foyer are doing a weekly fare-share where young people who are struggling can stock up on food for as little as £3 every Tuesday and Friday.
The service provides enough food to give those in need the opportunity to stock up for the week, offering ready meals, energy drinks, coffee, chicken, yogurts, fruits, veggies and much more.

The Foyer supports housing for homeless people between the ages 16-25. Owned and Managed by Places for People Living +, they help those who are struggling to find their sense of stability, security and self esteem.
With 35 rooms, two communal living rooms, a kitchen, laundry room, and even a mother and baby unit, they provide shelter, comfort and the ability to live independently for anyone who needs it.
According to Greater Together Manchester, 5,564 people are homeless across Greater Manchester – 1,804 of these individuals are in Manchester and 1,088 are in Salford, not including the ‘hidden homeless’. The community are hoping to help tackle the issue by taking part in The World’s Big Sleep Out to help raise $50,000,000 for homelessness causes worldwide.
The foyer is located at 1 Lower Seedley Road, only a five minute walk from Salford Precinct.
If you’d like to help, phone 0161 737 7778 for further information on volunteering, and 0161 737 7778 for details on food donations. Visiting times are Monday to Friday 4pm-11:30pm, weekends 9am-11:30pm.
