The constructor company, Royalton Group and Frogmore, have submitted their plans for Salford’s Cotton Quay.
The new scheme will include a building of 37 storeys, and a building of 48 storeys, compromising four quarters.

Lichfields, a Manchester office of planning consultancy has logged an hybrid planning application with the Salford City Council, for the Pier 7 site in the area.
If the plans go ahead it would see 491 new homes, and a 2,296 square meter of retail, and/or commercial use. A hotel and multi-story car park will also feature.
Two buildings, Laser House and Magnetic House, would be demolished if the plans are approved, and the road, Waterfront Quay, will move to the north.
According to ‘Construction Enquirer’, Nathan Matta, the planning director of Lichfields, said: “If approved, this scheme would create a new sustainable community introducing a much-needed mix of high-quality new homes; bespoke leisure and recreation provision; biodiversity enhancements; and opportunities to continue the areas rapid economic growth.”

The application for the plans is seen to be decided in Spring 2020.
