Salford’s early ‘summer’ weather is due to come to an abrupt halt later this week with temperatures dropping and rain returning.
Temperatures have been extraordinarily high and last week Greater Manchester was warmer than Turkish city, Istanbul.
Twitter was filled with streams of of happy Salfordians savouring the warm, sunny weather.

Tomorrow is expected to be 16 degrees with clear skies holding on to the last of the sunny weather, according to BBC Weather.
From Thursday onwards temperatures are set to drop to 11 degrees with rainfall and cloud cover over the weekend.
