Salford City completed the signings of two new players late on deadline day, strengthening the Ammies push towards the Football League.
Firstly, Salford announced the signing of 29-year-old midfielder Amine Linganzi on a free transfer.

Linganzi has been without a club since leaving Swindon Town at the end of last season. The experienced midfielder netted four times last year for the Robins and will bolster Graham Alexanders midfield, adding much needed experience to the side.
Linganzi has previously played for French side St. Etienne, along with Championship side Blackburn Rovers and League One Portsmouth. He told the official Salford City website that he is delighted to be an Ammie.
“[I’m] really delighted, really happy to be here at a club who is really ambitious. I think every player wants that, I’ve come in January and as you can see we’re in a really good position to go up to League Two and this is my aim, this is why I came, to be successful.”
That wasn’t Salford done with deadline day though. Just an hour later, Salford announced the signing of Devonte Redmond.

Redmond signs for Salford on a contract until the end of the season, having been released from Manchester United. Like with Linganzi, Redmond has been without a club since the summer and will provide invaluable depth to the Ammies midfield.
As well as talking of his delight for signing for the League 2 hopefuls, Redmond explained a bit more about his style and position on the pitch to the clubs official website.
““I want to be getting forward, I want to be all over basically! I want to create some excitement, create some goals, score some goals and give the fans something to look forward to. I’m a box-to-box player so that’s what I’ll be trying to do, get on the ball and give fans something they want to see.”
Both new signings could be available to make their Salford City debuts on Saturday as the Ammies host Maidstone United.
