Marr, who has an honorary degree from Salford University, has recently completed an international tour for his critically acclaimed new solo album ‘Call the Comet’, with the final date being in Manchester.
Despite being well into his fifties, Marr remains as cool as when he started out with The Smiths 36 years ago. With Marr being known to give a masterclass in performing whilst on stage, the anticipation for his All Points East performance has left fans asking, how soon is now?
Tickets for the festival go on sale at 9am Friday February 1 .
