The body of a woman, believed to be in her 40’s, was found in a car outside a property on Bolbury Cresscent, Swinton, on Monday night.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, however the Home Office post mortem examination later showed that there were no suspicious circumstances around the death. The man has since been released with no further action.
Detective Inspector Chris Mannion, of GMP’s Salford borough, said: “Dedicated officers have followed extensive lines of inquiry following the death of this woman but we are no longer treating this as a murder investigation.
