Salford based amateur side North Walkden FC are looking for new faces to join their first team.
The club, from Little Hulton in Salford, said in a tweet today that there is “no specific position, age or standard” as long as players are committed and reliable.
Currently playing in the Wigan and District Amateur League, the club have been plying their trade in England’s amateur leagues since 1992 and are one the biggest in the region in terms of infrastructure, coaching and success at their level, with every coach having at least an F.A. Level 2 Coaching Badge.
We are currently on the look out for new players to add to the squad. No specific position, age or standard. Reliable and willing lads only. If you are interested or know some one you think will be please tag them or contact rob arnold 07709 145565. RT would also be appreciated

North Walkden also have sides from as young as under-7’s all the way up to under-21s, including its very own soccer school, as well as both a men’s and women’s team. They have also won several league titles, won by unbeaten sides, and also the Manchester FA Cup.
The most notable player to have come from through North Walkden is midfielder Dale Stephens, who now plays in the Premier League for Brighton and Hove Albion.
North Walkden, who currently sit fifth in the table, will be hoping that fresh players will add to an already successful side that have won 5 of their last 6 games, however fans will be expecting to win regardless of whether new faces arrive during the week.
The club will want to get the players in before this weekend’s clash against bottom of the table Abram FC, who sit 6 points adrift to Hag Fold, but fans will be expecting North Walkden to pile on the misery with or without the fresh faces they’re after.
If you think that you’re up for the challenge then get in touch with the club on Twitter or by calling first team manager Rob Arnold on 07709 145565.
