The run beings outside the BBC offices before the runners, all dressed in Santa Suits, will race over the bridge over to the Imperial War Museum before taking the ship canal and then finishing back in Media City.

The Christmas themed run is all about fun and is not timed, with tickets priced at £11 including the Santa costume.
Proceeds from the run will be donated to the children’s charity, ‘Action for Children’, which helps neglected and vulnerable young children, especially around Christmas.
The run is held every year at Media City as a fun way of raising money for children that find themselves in difficult circumstances around the Christmas period.
Many of the proceeds of the run help the Action for Children charity who work with over 300,000 deprived and children and families to give them a better standard of living and an overall better life experience.
Across the UK, vulnerable children won’t have food, a safe home or a bed to sleep in this Christmas. We need 25,000 Secret Santas to help us change this. Will you be one of them?

The event is now in it’s 11th year and every year selects a different charity as it’s main one and often is well turned out, despite the cold weather at this time of year.
Anyone wishing to take part in the run this Sunday is to meet at 10:00 AM outside the meeting point at the BBC studios where they will be given santa costumes before the run begins at 10:30.
