Salford City fans are still reeling in the wake of last night’s loss against Shrewsbury Town.
The 1-3 loss snapped the Salford team out of their 17-match long winning streak, much to the joy of Shrewsbury fans.
Salford City 22 games unbeaten and 11 months without losing at home.. then they finally come up against a proper side and look what happens #BlueAmberArmy

Club manager, Graham Alexander, said in a post-match interview: “We caused some problems and we did have opportunities to score more than the one goal that we did.
“But overall a feeling of frustration that we didn’t play as well as we have done and can do.”
The feeling of frustration was felt by all watching last night, although some felt there wasn’t much more that the team could have done against Shrewsbury.
One fan pointed out that since Shrewsbury is two tiers above the home side it was all Salford could do to keep their goals as low as they did.
Against a side 2 tiers above them. Keeping the score at bay was an achievement

Salford will be looking to maintain their place in the National League table following their FA Cup exit on Saturday against Solihull Moors.
The team will be running coaches for supporters to the opposition’s grounds.
Despite the loss one thing’s for sure, £10 for a day of football is a bargain not many can resist. When Premier League tickets can sell for over £200, it’s nice to support a smaller team at a smaller price.
