After one of the coldest winters on record, a local garden centre is welcoming the warm weather.
The family-owned All-In-One, which opened in 1971 and was the UK’s first purpose-built retail garden centre, had been one of many to have suffered from a drop in sales due to the poor weather.
In April, the Garden Centre Association had reported that nationally, sales were down by 15-20% on previous years.
Assistant Manager of the All In One, Jack Slater, talked about the impact the harsh winter had, and how the recent warm weather is welcome news for both retailers and gardeners alike.
