MediaCityUK had a special royal visit this morning from Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.
Having last visited the city back in 2016, the Royal couple are visiting Manchester for the Children’s Global Media Summit at Manchester Central Convention Complex at around 1pm today.

The pair paid a visit to Media City first to speak to local school children taking part in a focus group session with the BBC, ‘Stepping Out’, before the BBC unveil one of the key outcomes of The Royal Foundation Cyber Bullying Taskforce, the ‘Own It’ project.
Fans of the Royals have been waiting outside of the Manchester Central Complex to get a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
“I was waiting outside for about an hour and a half but he was definitely worth the wait!”
Quays News spoke to a member of the public who had traveled from London to see the pair.
As they left the Centre, a cheerful William responded to an onlooker, who asked how his brother – the recently engaged Prince Harry – was coping with wedding preparations. “Still ginger,” was the Prince’s light-hearted reply.
Several Royal fans had been excited to see their idols and, although it was only a short glimpse, many seem satisfied with what they saw from the Prince.
One onlooker told Quays News:
