Salford University fashion students react to the news of ASOS unveiling same day delivery in the U.K.
Fashion students at the University of Salford reacted to the profit increase of ASOS and what impact it could have for students.
The British online fashion store already offers a 10% student discount but some feel that the brand should do more to accommodate students who have a particular passion for fashion.
The online retail giant doubled their pretax profit and announced a 33% increase in the financial year ending August 31st.
As well as rising profits the brand look to build on their success by trialling a same day delivery service, dubbed “ASOS instant” in London.
The service would ensure that orders placed by 10am would arrive between 6pm and 10pm later that day.
ASOS have said it will be expanding past the measly 122 postcodes the service is currently available to in the coming months with Manchester sure to be high on the priority list.

With Amazon and Net a Porter offering similar services, ASOS will be looking to corner the market on fast fashion.
With Asos’ 146 million visitors each month, and huge names ranging from Kate Middleton to Beyonce having admitted to being users of the fashion site. it seems that the brand is set to keep on expanding.
