Manchester City face off against the leaders of the Championship in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.
Fresh from a 3-0 victory over Burnley at the weekend, the Premier League leaders come into the Carabao Cup in fantastic form with eleven straight victories in all competitions this season.
Their midweek opponents Wolves were also boosted by an important victory, however, after they edged out play-off chasing Preston North End 3-2 in a Championship clash at the Molineux
The Wanderers have defeated three sides already on their way to the fourth round, beating Derby County, Bristol Rovers and a big name scalp with a victory away at Southampton.

The Citizens on the other hand have only faced one opponent so far in the competition, West Bromwich Albion back in September. City claimed victory thanks to winger, Leroy Sane’s brace against the Baggies.
Manchester City have been in unstoppable from this season and haven’t lost since April 2017 and have previously won this competition back in 2016.
However despite this Wolves striker Leo Bonatini who is quoted by The Telegraph said: “We don’t need to be scared of them, it’s just football, it’s 11 against 11 and we know what we can do.
“It will be a tough game for us and for them as well. We will go there and try to play our football.”
The Wolves Manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, made eleven changes to his side against Southampton. He may rest top goal scorer, Diego Jota and dangerous winger, Ivan Cavaleiro.

Manchester City are also expected to make changes having played two games in six days. Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola may include a few of City’s main youth prospects, with the exciting Brahim Diaz, Oleksandr Zinchenko and centre back Tosin Adarabioyo.
Also in line to return to the starting line up are experienced players; Claudio Bravo, Eliaquim Mangala and Yaya Toure.
All eyes however will be on Sergio Aguero who looks set to start up front for Guardiola’s men. Aguero has the chance to break City’s all-time scoring record with just one more goal to break the record.
The striker who has been at the club since 2011, looks certain to start as he continues to build up his match fitness following his car crash back in late September.
