MANCHESTER City face Napoli tonight as they continue their adventure in the Uefa Champions League group stage.
City go into the fixture high on confidence after beating Stoke City 7-2 at the weekend and in doing so scoring a record 29 nine goals in just eight league games – a record that had previously stood since 1894.
Pep Guardiola’s side will be hoping to cement their position at the top of Group F after winning their opening two fixtures in the competition without conceding a goal.
Napoli currently sit top of the Serie A table in Italy, and are expected to rest players as they prepare for their top-of-the-table clash against Inter Milan at the weekend.

City on the other hand are still doubtful about Captain Vincent Kompany’s involvement for the match; the Belgian defender is recovering from a calf injury. Likewise, Sergio Aguero is still missing following his rib injury sustained in a car crash three weeks ago.
City’s rivals, Manchester United, will be away to Portuguese side Benfica tomorrow. They will also be hoping to continue their perfect form in Europe away at the Estádio da Luz.
Man City’s game against Napoli kicks off at 7:45pm, with the game being shown live on BT Sport 3
