A five-year-old boy is left in a critical condition after a collision in Ordsall, Salford.
Shortly before 7pm on Saturday 7 October 2017, a grey Kia Cee’d was travelling on Stern Avenue in Ordsall when it collided with a five-year-old boy.
The boy was taken straight to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
Police Constable Suzanne Keenan of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is a tragic incident that has left a young boy in a critical condition in hospital, and our thoughts are with his family and we have specially-trained officers supporting them.
“If you saw what happened, or were driving in the area and have dash-cam footage, I would urge you to get in touch with officers.”
