OLDHAM Roughyeds will swap Stalybridge for the South of France, when they face the Championship’s second placed side Toulouse Olimpique at 6pm tonight.
Head coach Scott Naylor described the match as different to others and said: “What happens before it and after it is something we as staff have got to deal with. The players have got to be there for that 80 minutes and perform.”

The Roughyeds go into the match following an impressive victory over full time opponents Bradford Bulls. Their hosts are in fine form as well however, having won 52-14 away to Oldham’s neighbours Rochdale Hornets.
Super League team Leigh Centurions came unstuck last night against Perpignan based Catalan Dragons, so it now falls to Oldham to tie the scores at 1-1 between Greater Manchester and French sides in Rugby League this weekend.
30 seconds left on the clock & Leigh score. Sam Hopkins over. 22-37 after the conversion, the hooter has gone. Final score, 22-37
