TWO young people, one as young as 12, approached and threatened stall owners with a knife at Manchester’s Christmas Markets on Thursday December 8.
The incident occurred in the city centre Cathedral Gardens spot at 1:20pm.
The pair were described by eye witnesses as wearing tracksuits as they demanded both money and goods.

Greater Manchester Police Sergeant Jon Kenna said: “The pair threatened the stall holder of a cup cake stall with a knife.
“The stall holder has come out from the stall and the two offenders have made off.”
Enquiries remain ongoing to identify and locate the offenders.
