REMEMBER, remember the 5th November! If you are looking for a fireworks display near you, here are some of the most popular firework displays across Manchester on Saturday.
These events are children friendly, however please leave your furry friends at home for your own pet’s safety. The following events are easy to access via public transport – with delays on the roads expected.
HEATON PARK: The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm, followed by fireworks. There will also be a funfair from 5pm to 9.30pm. Free entry.

FALLOWFIELD: Platt Field’s event begins with a funfair from 5pm to 9.30pm. The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm – with fireworks afterwards. Free entry.

WYTHENSHAWE: Wythenshawe Park’s fireworks display starts at 7.30pm. There will also be a funfair from 5pm to 9.30pm. Free entry.

CHORLTON: The Horse and Jockey pub’s ever-popular Bonfire Night celebration returns with a children’s firework display on Chorlton Green at 7pm, and another for the grown-ups at 9pm. There will also be an outdoor bar and barbecue all night. Free entry.

SALFORD BUILE HILL PARK: Salford’s main display starts with a funfair at 5pm, followed by a bonfire from 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm. Free entry.

CHEADLE: Cheadle’s Big Bang is back at Cheadle College, organised by Cheadle and Gatley Round Table. Gates open at 5.30pm and there will be a children’s fireworks display at 7pm, followed by the bonfire lighting at 7.30pm. The main fireworks display will begin at 8.15pm. Tickets £7 in advance from cheadlesbigbang.com or £8 on the gate. Group tickets £21 in advance or £25 on the gate. Under-fours go free.

URMSTON: Abbotsfield Park’s bonfire and fireworks display runs from 6pm to 9pm. There will also be a children’s funfair, food and charity stalls. Entry prices are still to be confirmed but expected to be around £5 for adults and £3 for children and concessions.
