LANGWORTHY Cornerstone celebrated Salford’s rich history with a two-day street museum festival.
The festival hosted charities, history projects and groups told the story of Salford’s real Coronation Street.
Local resident Brain Dolan shared stories of a time when Salford’s streets were the heart of the community.
He said: “Then you could leave your door open, everyone was like a community, it’s not a community anymore,
“if you leave your door open now someone will nick all your gear.”
The exhibition featured photographs, artefacts and memorabilia from the coal mining history of Salford from the Irwell Valley Mining Project.
Salford was the centre of the industrial revolution and a powerhouse for the coal mining industry.
