SALFORD City have made three new signings, extended four players’ deals and let go of three others during a busy 24 hours at Moor Lane.
The Ammies have brought in midfielder Bradley Barnes from AFC Fylde, forward Mike Phenix from Southport and defender Michael Nottingham from Solihull Moors.
Defenders Steve Howson and Steve O’Halloran and midfield duo Scott Burton and Richie Allen have agreed new contracts.
But striker Gareth Seddon, centre-back Andy Dawson and winger Joe Mwasile have left the club.

The overhaul of the squad comes as joint managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley prepare for the club’s first ever season in the National League North.
Former Chester and Southport player Barnes, who is based in Trafford, captained Fylde to the play-offs in the sixth tier last term.
Manchester-born Phenix arrives from National League side Southport and has had spells at Macclesfield Town, Droylsden, Skelmersdale United and Telford United.
The former Bolton Wanderers academy product was also bought by Barnsley for £25,000 in the summer of 2014.
Nottingham was a key member of the Solihull team which won the National League North title last term and claimed both the players’ and supporters’ player of the season awards.
The versatile Birmingham-born defender – who can play at right-back, centre-back or wing-back – started out at Romulus before moving to Redditch United and Gresley.
But the Ammies say goodbye to Seddon, who netted 31 times in 74 appearances since joining in the summer of 2014.
He was an integral part of the Salford team which has gained back-to-back promotions and scored his last goal in the 3-1 victory over Ashton United in the play-offs last month.
Dawson – who played under Johnson and Morley at Ramsbottom United – also departs after an injury-ravaged stint at the club, in which he made just 13 appearances since arriving in October 2015.
Mwasile scored three goals and assisted four others during 35 outings for the Ammies since arriving last summer but made only 11 starts.
The trio exit Moor Lane just a week after captain Chris Lynch decided to move to Australia to further his career after two years with the Ammies.
The club said in a statement on their website they expect more signings to be announced in the coming weeks.
Josh Hine, Jordan Hulme, John Johnston, Sam Livesey and Billy Priestley have already agreed fresh terms to stay on for the 2016-17 season.
Salford City gained promotion to the sixth tier of English football after beating Workington 3-2 in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division Play-Off Final on April 30.
